Auditions for the 2022-2023 season are by appointment. We are looking for all voice parts! Please fill out the RCS Audition Request Form to schedule an audition appointment.
Zoan Baptist Church is located at 5888 Plank Road (Rte 3), Fredericksburg, VA. It is located diagonally opposite Harrison Road Shopping Center (Giant/Home Depot).
The audition process is quite simple. You will be asked to sing the melody of “America, the Beautiful” with chordal accompaniment. You will then be asked to sing a “short and sweet” sight reading exercise. To prepare, please review a major scale and…do not stress! This sight reading exercise is just to see where you are. Based on your solo performance, the conductor may or may not ask you to sing a few warm up exercises for a range check. Once your audition is complete, the conductor will contact you within 24 hours with a decision.
