The Rappahannock Choral Society, Inc., (RCS) is an audition-only regional chorus whose mission is to provide quality, enjoyable musical entertainment and education through concerts and selected singing opportunities.

Community

The RCS brings great music to the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Community. We have sung at Jubilation, PorchFest, Gari Melcher's Arts After Hours and the Fred Nats.

Scholarships

Each year, the RCS awards the Anne E. Parker Scholarship in the amount of $1000 to a graduating senior pursuing a post high school music education. The 2025 winner was Julia Hoovler.

Holiday Concert

The RCS performed their Holiday Concert titled "Tis the Season for Joy" at Chancellor High School on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 7pm and Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 3pm.

We will be posting video and audio from the performance soon.

Come see the RCS perform on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Fredericksburg Area Museum's FAMFaire Holiday Market. The museum is located at 907 Princess Anne Street and the RCS will be singing behind the main building from 10:00am - 11:00am.
