Great Music - Close To Home
The Rappahannock Choral Society, Inc., (RCS) is an audition-only regional chorus whose mission is to provide quality, enjoyable musical entertainment and education through concerts and selected singing opportunities.
Community
The RCS brings great music to the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Community. In 2023 we have sung at Jubilation, PorchFest, Gari Melcher's Arts After Hours and the Fred Nats.
Scholarships
Each year, the RCS awards the Anne E. Parker Scholarship in the amount of $1500 to a graduating senior pursuing a post high school music education.
The RCS performed their 2024 holiday concert, "Glorious Lights of the Season" on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th.

The RCS will be singing on Saturday, December 14th as part of Fredericksburg's 54th Holiday House Tour. Come see us from Noon to 1:00pm in the 400 block of Faquier Street.
Assistant Conductor: The Rappahannock Choral Society (RCS) is seeking an Assistant Conductor to serve for its 2024-2025 season (with an option for yearly renewals). The Winter/Holiday season begins in late August and culminates in two concerts in early December, and the Spring season begins in late January and culminates in two concerts in May. Rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Zoan Baptist Church on Plank Road, diagonally across from the Home Depot at Harrison Crossing.
